The official banned list
Jeans in any colour, explicitly including black. Regular suits, yes even with a hat. Cotton clothing, sexy party dresses, camouflage, ordinary black fabric trousers, leggings, cheap costume-shop outfits. The list is stated verbatim on the Torture Garden Berlin site and applies to all genders.
What the standard means
The official demand is full head-to-toe effort, not just a gesture towards a fetish look. Latex and datex always work, quality leather likewise, PVC as an alternative for latex allergies. Practical
You may arrive in street clothes and change on site, but you'll be asked to show your outfit at the door. There's a cloakroom for bags and coats.
